You're too kind, Debra! This is the memoir excerpt I entered for the Writers Read "TV" event. Didn't get picked to read, obviously - my stuff is a little too serious (and / or traumatic)for WR - but it gave me the opportunity to sculpt the piece further.
Well, it seems to me they missed out on a great story. I didn't get to go to the TV reading but I like it when there are deep or traumatic or dark pieces mixed in - way more interesting that way.
Again, you're too kind. I like the mix there, and I truly enjoyed the event in which we both read. The event they've just announced on photographs will be so damn interesting. That's such an excellent topic.
